Right in the historic centre, the B&B Palazzo Bruca represents one of the most sought-after solutions for sleeping in Sicily today. The b&b is located in an old historical residence from the end of the 18th century in the heart of Catania's city centre in a street that is now a UNESCO heritage site for its Baroque architecture and its succession of churches, monuments, frescoes and decorations. Thanks to its strategic location, the b&b immersed in the heart of the Sicilian city and its nightlife just a few steps from the cathedral of S. Agata and the fish market "A piscaria", quick access to the city's main services, private internal parking and proximity to offices and companies, it is the ideal destination for those who often visit Catania and its province for work or leisure. Easily reachable from the airport in 15 minutes and only 5 minutes by car from the central station, port and bus, the finely furnished bed breakfast has rooms with private internal and/or external bathroom and several independent holiday homes and/or suites with Jacuzzi.

Rooms

Our three-star hotel offers rooms with courtyard view or city view with balcony, air conditioning, TV, free Wi-Fi and minibar.

The Mazzini Room is a quadruple family room consisting of two double rooms, both with separate entrances, NOT communicating with each other. The rooms each have a private bathroom with shower and bidet: one inside and one outside for exclusive use. This room is suitable for families or groups of friends up to a maximum of 4 people.

The rooms have the following facilities: flat-screen TV, air conditioning, free wifi, fridge, desk and a large balcony with a city view.

The rooms communicate through a large angled balcony from which it is possible to admire Piazza Mazzini, Piazza S. Francesco d'Assisi with the magnificent church of the same name on which stands the monument of Cardinal Dusmet and it is also possible to admire the dome of the majestic Collegiate Church dating back to the second half of the 19th century.

Restaurant

Palazzo Bruca also guarantees its guests gastronomic experiences of typical Catanese cuisine at discounted rates thanks to its collaboration with some of the best restaurants in the historic centre.

Outside

Just 15 minutes walk to Villa Bellini: a majestic green space full of plants of various species and games for children. In front of the main entrance of the Villa there are the oldest and best known pastry shops of Catania where you can taste oranges, cannoli, granite and all sorts of Sicilian delights. A few steps from the property you can visit the Baroque area of Catania known for the famous Via crociferi and the main street of Catania, Via Etnea where you can go shopping surrounded by the architecture of the old town. The b & b is a few minutes walk from the Greek Theatre and the Monastery San Nicolò l'Arena; the Benedictine complex among the largest in Europe heritage of humanity and the hospital Vittorio Emanuele. By Crociferi street you get, finally, to the house of Vincenzo Bellini and a little further to the house of G. verga. Upon your arrival you will always find the maximum availability from our multilingual staff and all the information you need to discover the city, culture, gastronomy and places of great artistic and social interest.

If you wish to arrive after 8pm, please let us know as soon as possible.
Someone from the staff will come to welcome you. We also ask that you notify us by phone at least 15 minutes before arrival.

We would like to inform you that there is an extra charge for check-ins from 20:00 to 22:00 the extra charge is 10€. From 22:00 to midnight 20€.

After midnight reception will be closed. In case of arrival after midnight, if agreed in advance with the property, late check-in will have an additional cost of 30€.Additional costs will be applied to each room and will only be paid in cash.
Any other extra payment (tourist tax, parking) will be paid in cash.

*Transfer service* We can arrange shuttle service to/from the airport. The airport is connected to the city centre by the *ALIBUS* shuttle bus. The nearest stop to our B&B is called *ARCHI* and is just after the Archi della Marina.

*Tour Etna* Booking of various tours to Europe's highest volcano, led by expert guides, half-day or full-day tours, from €45 p/p.

*Private parking* Private parking available on request at a daily rate of €10 (equivalent to the daily rate by parking on the street). The car park is accessible from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m., guests wishing to move their vehicles after closing time will be provided with a remote control on deposit of €20 which will be returned at check-out.
The deposit will be retained in case of loss or failure to return it. Service subject to availability on arrival.

Service subject to availability on arrival. *Minibar* The minibar is supplied full on the day of arrival (10 bottles of water of 0.50 cl each and 5 soft drinks). In case of a deficiency please inform us. The cost of the drinks is € 0.50 for the water and € 1.00 for the other drinks and will be charged to the final bill of the room.
