Situated in the heart of the Land of the Sun, rich in art and archaeology in an ideal geographical position for excursions to Taormina (140 Km), Agrigento (130 Km), Syracuse (120 Km), Noto and Ragusa Ibla, the Agriturismo boasts surroundings of great tourist attraction such as Piazza Armerina (9 Km) with the Villa Imperiale del Casale, Caltagirone (16 Km), beautiful for its historical centre and famous for its majolica tiles, Morgantina (20 Km), ancient Greek city with the agora and the splendid theatre.

Rooms

The owners have restructured the old monastery farmhouse for the hospitality of tourists, with 14 comfortable rooms furnished with Sicilian style furniture, with en-suite bathroom and terracotta floors. Six of the rooms have a private terrace (2 triple and 4 doubles) and two are equipped for the disabled (1 twin and 1 quadruple).

At the Gigliotto you can taste the best typical Sicilian cuisine based on appetizers, Sicilian cheeses and cold cuts, homemade pasta, roasts and barbecued meat, game, fish, local vegetables and vegetables, extra virgin olive oil from our olive groves, all in the correct combination with GIGLIOTTO Tenute wines produced with Nero d'Avola, Chardonnay, Petit Verdot grapes grown in our vineyards and processed in the prestigious cellar of 4000 square meters inside our company.
